The 'Basalt' House in Tihany

A magnificent natural environment and view to a lake were the main factors affecting the floorplan. These two also demand for very simple and elegant ways, so the solidity of basalt stones are balanced by wooden surfaces, while the white, boxlike windowframes refer to the vernacural architecture of the area.
