The café planned for the building of the Visitor Center of the Hortobágy National Park has been replaced by the former shop. The newly designed space was created partly using existing furniture and accessories and partly with new elements. As a continuation of the service counter, we created seats with bar stools, while in the rest of the space we created a seating facility with tables and chairs. In addition to the use of natural materials and colors, the guiding thread of the interior design was the import of site-specific elements, for which we also designed tip-patterned walls as one version. In the final plan, the wall next to the service counter became bright, while the wall opposite it became a wallpaper montage made from a unique series of images, which abstracted scenes from Hortobágy from the paintings of Tivadar Csontváry Kosztka.
