'Hungarian Cube' Redesigns
Two different ideas for the idea contest of Lechner Knowledge Center for redesigning the so called 'hungarian cubes' or 'Kádár-cubes' (typical family houses from the 60's Hungary) to adapt to 21st century trends and requirements. We planned expandable versions both for urban and rural environments (horizontally expansible building for larger pieces of lands for the countryside, and a two-story building for city landscape). The urban project won purchase, and from 2020 it is available to use by anyone browsing the Hungarian national catalogue of sample floor plans.
